Information we collect and store
When you purchase a course from us, we ask for your email address. We will use this information for the following purposes
– Send you information about your account and orders
– Create an account for our learning management system
If you sign up for a free account, we will save your email address.
We will save your information as long as your account exists.
We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable).
If you choose to leave comments about courses, courses, topics, assignments and papers, we will also store these comments.
Team member access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide to us. For example, administrators and group leaders can access:
–Order information, such as the courses you are registered for, course progress and username/email address.
Administrators can also see any other information you add to your user profile.
Information we share with others
In this section, you should list who you share the data with and the purpose for which you share it. This may include, but is not limited to, analytics/reporting tools, marketing services, email services, payment gateways, gamification programs, and third-party embeds.
We may share information with third parties who help us provide your order and store services.
Payment
We accept payments through Stripe. When processing a payment, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information needed to process or support the payment, such as purchase total and billing information.

Comment
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using that service. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a message on this site, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you comment again. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. The login cookie is valid for two days and the screen options cookie is valid for one year. If you select "Remember Me," your login information will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It will expire after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (but cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
